Keeping Up With Karen…

Keeping Up With Karen

Howdy Chums…

What a busy little bee I’ve been this week! After starting my new job on Monday (and yes ladies, I love love love it) I was on a high from finally settling into a role I was completely familiar with. However as lady luck would have it, by the beginning of Tuesday morning I was aching from one end to the other, had a soaring temperature, staving off regular coughing fits and generally feeling blooming miserable. After dodging viruses the entire season it had to hit the first week of a new job *rolls eyes* Thankfully like the red blooded Irish gal I am *aaah hmm* I battled through and painstakingly dealt with the insomnia, puffy eyes and aching lungs that only coughing at night seems to gift me with. Thankfully after a weekend of chicken soup, more oranges than you could shake an orange tree at and regular raids of the medicine cupboard, I’m back on top form! Best of all I can actually taste things again *yeee haaa* Bring on the salted caramel biccies 😉

So today I’m taking a lazy day. I’ll more than likely end up drinking copious amounts of tea whilst unashamedly reveling in a YouTube binge… not even caring to acknowledge the slowly growing list of chores that I could be cracking on with. Nope, today is time for me. It’s time to recharge the batteries & enjoy a cosy Sunday couped up with the clan ❤ And for those of you doing the same and fancy a spot of beauty gossip, here’s a quick recap of this week posts… so top up your cup and get comfy!

What’s your plans for today chums? Hope you’re all keeping as well as can be… happy reading 🙂
